Homo Digitalis Project Conducts Study Visit on Participatory Teaching Processes – Engaging Academics and Students in Tetovo
On 3-4 December 2024, the Homo Digitalis ERASMUS+ Project No. 10112918, titled "Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide in the West Balkans", organizes the 2nd study visit on Participatory Teaching Processes – Engaging Academics and Students at the South-East European University of Tetovo, North Macedonia. This training event will bring together participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo.
The next study visit in the Homo Digitalis series is scheduled to take place in the University of Patras, Greece, in March 2025. The project continues to build on its commitment to enhancing digital competencies and fostering educational innovation across the region.
On 29-30 August 2024, the Homo Digitalis ERASMUS+ Project No. 10112918, titled "Bridging the Digital Humanities and Educational Media Divide in the West Balkans", organized a significant workshop at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. This training event brought together over 30 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo, with the aim of enhancing the ICT skills of humanities experts and the humanities skills of ICT experts, thereby improving teaching performance across the region. The workshop, led by Prof. Adrian Besimi and Prof. Visar Shehu from the South-East European University in Tetovo, North Macedonia, covered a wide range of topics including digital tools and methods, data visualization, and AI in research. Key highlights of the workshop included hands-on sessions focused on data visualization using PowerBI and practical exercises in AI-driven research proposal writing. The event successfully fostered collaboration and skills development among participants, aligning with the project's goal to advance digital humanities and educational media in the Western Balkans. The next workshop in the Homo Digitalis series is scheduled to take place in Prishtina, Kosovo, in February 2025, where trainers from the University of Patras, Greece, will lead the sessions. The project continues to build on its commitment to enhancing digital competencies and fostering educational innovation across the region.
