This training event brought together over 30 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo, with the aim of enhancing the ICT skills of humanities experts and the humanities skills of ICT experts, thereby improving teaching performance across the region. The workshop, led by Prof. Adrian Besimi and Prof. Visar Shehu from the South-East European University in Tetovo, North Macedonia, covered a wide range of topics including digital tools and methods, data visualization, and AI in research. Key highlights of the workshop included hands-on sessions focused on data visualization using PowerBI and practical exercises in AI-driven research proposal writing. The event successfully fostered collaboration and skills development among participants, aligning with the project's goal to advance digital humanities and educational media in the Western Balkans. The next workshop in the Homo Digitalis series is scheduled to take place in Prishtina, Kosovo, in February 2025, where trainers from the University of Patras, Greece, will lead the sessions.
