Child Rights Consultation for Professors and Faculty Members The Child Rights Center operating at the University of Patras, in collaboration with the UNICEF Office in Greece, organized a special consultation program for all members of the teaching staff (January 15 and 16) on the subject of children's rights and their inclusion relevant reflection in higher education. The program was held at the Center for Teaching and Learning coordinated by Dr. Ghassan Khalil (diplomatic representative of UNICEF in Greece) and Dr. Eteri Kirtskhalia, coordinator of the network of seven Child Rights Centers in Georgian universities. The University of Patras is the first higher education institution that implemented this program, following the relevant memorandum of cooperation signed with the UNICEF Office. Other Greek universities will soon follow with the aim of creating a network for the rights of the child in higher education, similar to what UNICEF has created in other countries.
