The Center for Teaching & Learning of the University of Patras supports teaching by enabling teaching staff members to effectively design, teach and evaluate their courses as well as to improve the teaching methods they use. More specifically it:

- provides personalized support services to the institution's teaching staff in order to improve teaching and upgrade the learning experiences provided to students

- focuses on developing modern skills

- promotes the inclusive approach

- enhances the flexible and creative use of technology

- supports and promotes innovative pedagogical approaches and participatory teaching methods

- invests in the creation of support/teaching resources and materials

- strengthens collaborations with Departments and groups of teaching staff

- highlights good practices

- fosters the development of a culture of self/peer-evaluation

- works to ensure the quality of the education provided

- facilitates and organizes educational networks

- collaborates with University structures that support teaching staff and students

- organizes learning cycles and other activities in collaboration with scientific, research, educational or professional bodies

- develops initiatives and collaborations with corresponding structures of higher education institutions

- participates in international programs

- uses research data to upgrade teaching

- organizes conferences, meetings, seminars, experiential workshops

- organizes relevant scientific activities such as the publication of scientific material
