Meeting on the perceptions of faculty members about their teaching work – 16/4/2021

On Friday, April 16, 2021, the second joint meeting of the Centers for Teaching and Learning (CTL) of the Democritus University of Thrace and University of Patras was held online. At the event were presented the results of a research project related to faculty members' perceptions of their teaching work. This is the first research in Greek higher education on this topic, in which they participated faculty members of the two Universities. The research was funded by the NSRF ("Support for researchers with an emphasis on young researchers - cycle B") and was carried out by a research team with Scientific Responsible Associate Professor Katerina Kedraka (Coordinator of CTL of Democritus University of Thrace), Deputy Scientific Responsible Professor Thanasis Karalis (Coordinator of CTL of the University of Patras) and the members of the research team PhD candidates Christos Kaltsidis, and Chara Orfanidou. The Conference started with greetings and short presentations by Mr. Apostolis Dimitropoulos, Secretary General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Professor Periklis Mitkas, President of ETHAAE, Professor Zoe Gavriilidou, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs of Democritus University of Thrace, who coordinated the event and Professor Dionysiοs Mantzavinos, Vice Chancellor of Academic and International Affairs of the University of Patras.
